Template:Gootraxian Slime Hounds are essentially the adult form of Slime Pups and look almost identical but stand bipedally instead of quadrupedally, with a constantly angered expression. Their neck fur is the same as normal, but their tails are very ruffled and messy.

Much like their juvenile form, they can also come in a variety of colors, including Golden and Diamond variants.

Abilities

Ghost Slime Hounds are able to phase through players at any time and turn invisible for 5 seconds when hit.

Golden Variants

Golden Slime Hounds have 600 HP.<ref name=":0">update log HP https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992375542563225630/unknown.png</ref> Upon death, Golden Hounds will drop 2.5k credits<ref name=":1">update log credits, food heal, and scale system https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992375542785511474/unknown.png</ref> to whoever landed the killing blow and turn the weapon that it was killed with into a golden version of it. If the Golden leaves the game, a golden grave will spawn and function similar to them in order to get the rewards. The Golden itself won't be able to see or interact with the grave when they rejoin. <ref>gravestone https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992375543032983632/unknown.png</ref>

Diamond Variants

Diamond Slime Hounds have 900 HP.<ref name=":0" /> When hit, they drop credits that scale to the amount of damage dealt to them. They also drop 2,000 credits to whoever landed the killing blow as and send out a flurry of more credits that other players can pick up, as well as a Diamond Crate. The amount of credits showered out scales to the amount of players in the server and each ticket worth 20 - 25 credits.<ref name=":1" /> Upon leaving, they will still drop a Diamond Crate along with the standard flurry of credits.

The Credit Scaling System is as follows:

if <math>Player Amount</math> is less than 17 then the credit amount would

instantly be 35, else it will be

<math>(Player Amount * 3)</math> instead.

These rare variants are unable to die by running into the forcefield in the spawn area, getting crushed by the gates or by resetting. They cannot regen their HP naturally overtime.<ref name=":02"> update log HP https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992375542563225630/unknown.png </ref> However, they can still grab or attack to gain some of their HP back.

Acquirement

There are 7 common Slime color variants and 3 rare variants.

In private servers, most of them can all be obtained by using the command :tf me Slimehound;color=[color]

Normal/Event

Normal Slime Hounds can be obtained by either losing all of your HP to a pink puddle. They also have unique Power Outage and Blackout variants that can be obtained during their respective events.

Alternatively, depending on the variant, infection by another Slime Hound will turn them into the color or variant of the infector, except rare variants, which will be of random color.

Golden and Diamond

Golden Slime Hounds have a 1/250 (0.4%) chance of being your color; the chance is lower when there are below 15 players in a server, at 1/750 [0.13%].<ref name=":2">chance to obtain update log https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992375543364325447/unknown.png</ref> Getting this rare variant will reward you with the "A Rare Variant" badge and the "Aureate" bat skin.

Diamond Slime Hounds have a rarer 1/500 (0.2%) chance of being your color; the chance is lower when there are less than 15 players in a server, at 1/1500 [0.07%].<ref name=":2" /> These variants are the rarest Gootraxians in the game.
