Slime Dragon

Dragon Pups are slime Gootraxians with white masks, whom's bodies can come in all of the colors Slime Pups can have, and likewise have Golden, Diamond, and Rainbow variants, the latter of which is unobtainable outside of VIP servers.

They have four ears, two in front and two in the back, as well as a pair of dragon wings that they use to move, and also have a long, thin dragon tail.

They have the lowest health of all Gootraxians along with Slime Pups (83 HP) before fused, with the exception of their Diamond and Golden variants.

Abilities

Like the other Gootraxians, they can attack Humans, but they do not have a grab attack. Instead, it is replaced by Sleep, which Slime Pups also have as an ability. If you manage to drain a Human's health as a Dragon Pup, you will consume them and become a Dragon Fusion.

Ghost Dragon Pups are able to phase through players at any time and turn invisible for 5 seconds when hit, as well as having a unique levitating sleeping animation. The latter does not affect them in combat and is purely cosmetic.

Golden Dragon Pups have 600 HP<ref name=":0">update log HP https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/856567609138741258</ref>. Upon death, Golden Slime Pups will drop 1.5k credits<ref name=":1">update log credits, food heal, and scale system https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/891892705406382091</ref> to whoever lands the killing blow and turn the weapon that it was killed with into a golden version of it. If the Golden leaves the game, a golden grave will spawn and function similar to them in order to get the rewards, although the Golden itself won't be able to see or interact with it when they rejoin. <ref>gravestone https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/920677851445985330</ref>

Diamond Dragon Pups have 900 HP<ref name=":0" />. When hit, they drop credits that scale to the amount of damage dealt to them. Upon death or leave, they will drop a Diamond Crate. They also drop 2,000 credits to whoever landed the killing blow as well as sending out a flurry of more credits that other players can pick up. The amount of credits showered out scales to the amount of players in the server and each ticket worth 20 - 25 credits.<ref name=":1" />

The Credit Scaling System is as follows:

instantly be 35, else it will be

<math>(Player Amount * 3)</math> instead.

These rare variants are unable to die by running into the forcefield on the spawn area, getting crushed by the gates, or reset character. They cannot regen their HP naturally over time<ref name=":0" />, however, they can get their health back by fusing with another human, which'll also give them an extra 25 more HP.

Acquirement

There are 3 common Slime variants and 3 rare variants.

In private servers, they can all be obtained by using the command :tf me Slimepup;color=[color]

Normal/Event

Normal Dragon Pups are obtained by stepping on a spike crystal. Doing this during a Power Outage will result in you turning into a Red Slime Pup, with glowing, red, crystal spines along its back. During Blackouts, you will instead turn into a white Slime Pup with a ghostly, white, translucent body and a wispy tail.

Alternatively, they can become one by getting infected by one of the Dragon Fusions that depending on the variant, will turn them into the color or variant of the infector, except rare variants, which will give a random color instead.

Golden and Diamond

Golden Dragon Pups have a 1/250 (0.4%) chance of being your color. The chance is lower when there are below 15 players in a server, at 1/750 [0.13%]<ref name=":2">chance to obtain update log https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/863837917700030534</ref>. Getting this rare variant will reward you with the "A Rare Variant" badge and the "Aureate" bat skin.

Diamond Dragon Pups have a 1/500 (0.2%) chance of being your color. The chance is lower when there are below 15 players in a server, at 1/1500 [0.07%]<ref name=":2" />. These variants are the rarest Gootraxians in the game.

Rainbow

They can only be achieved in private servers by nicknaming yourself a certain name.

Bestiary Entry

A strange mutation between the Slime Pup and the Slime Hound. In the lesser form, they take form of a slime pup with dragon like wings and a wirey like tail. Their greater form keeps these features, but takes the size of a Slime Hound. These creatures are noticeably more curious, but seem to lack empathy for other creatures. Each test with them has concluded they mainly see Humans as a food source to grow in size, but once they grow they become either extremely lazy like a pup, or extremely lazy like a hound. Avoid this odd mutation at all costs.

Trivia

• The method of making Rainbow Dragon Pups is a reference the infamous "jeb_" Rainbow sheep Easter Egg from Minecraft.
• Due to their unique flying animation, they can sometimes glitch out or phase out on certain parts of the map.
• They are the only gootraxians to not have a jump animation.
  • Most would think that this is a glitch, but it's been confirmed that this is simply because the devs don't feel like making one.
