Kaiju

Template:Gootraxian Kaiju are the titular Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise and were created and designed by YukaChaan.

They appear to be dark-blue, reptilian humanoids with a lighter blue coloring covering their stomachs and illuminated, blue crystal spines running along their backs and tails. They have magenta-colored eyes with yellow irises, a light blue tongue and dark blue claws on their hands and feet.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Kaiju have more health compared to other Gootraxians, with a total of 125 HP.

Larger Size (Passive)

While this mostly appears to only be a visual difference, Kaiju are slightly larger in size compared to other Gootraxians, being 1.1x larger.

Rare Item Drops

Upon death, they have a 1/8 (12.5%) chance to drop a Kaiju Basher. They also have a chance to drop a Strange Crystal, but this chance varies depending on how high the Kaiju's infect streak was before dying. A Strange Crystal will only have the potential to drop after 3 infects, and is guaranteed to drop at 20 infects or more.

The chance for the Strange Crystal works as so:

Acquirement

Kaiju can be obtained via infection through the blue crystals in the Crystal Caves or by being infected by another Kaiju Gootraxian.
