Manic

Template:Gootraxian Manic is a Gootraxian available primarily during Power Outages. Their fur is mostly hot purple, with dark purple accents on their hands and knees, as well as a lighter pink covering their chest and stomach. They have cyan blue scleras with a thick, pink iris surrounding their cyan pupils, and cyan blue markings resembling eyelashes under their eyes.

They have large, bright red crystals growing on their body, mainly on their chest, tail and head. These crystals appear in the form of body markings, claws and horns. These crystals also glow and produce a red light during Power Outages.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Manic has more health than other Gootraxians, at 120 HP.

Attack Damage Buff (PO Only)

During Power Outages, their attack damage increases, dealing 35 damage per hit instead of the standard 28.

Rare Item Drops

Upon death, they have a 1 in 8 (12.5%) chance to drop a Manic Striker and, in rarer cases, can drop a Strange Crystal. However, the chance of dropping a Strange Crystal also depends on how high the Manic's infect streak was before dying, the higher the streak, the higher the chance. A Strange Crystal will only have the potential to drop after 3 infects, and is guaranteed to drop at 20 infects or more.

The chance for the Strange Crystal works as so:

<math>Random</math> = Generated number from 0 - 100, effectively operates the percentage chance.

<math>Streak</math> = Player's current infection streak. It must be 3 or higher to have any chance to drop a strange crystal.

Acquirement

Manic can be obtained via infection through the large, red crystals in the Crystal Cave during a Power Outage or by being infected by another Manic Gootraxian.

Mutation

If standing in the lower part of the Crystal Caves during a Power Outage for too long as a human, they will start losing HP and crystals will start to grow on their body near death and which remain after turning into a Manic. The crystals are in random places of the body each time.
