Template:Gootraxian Wisp is the Blackout variant of the common Shorks.

They have dark purple skin with lighter purple-colored muzzles and underbellies. Covering their bodies are blue, bio-luminescent horns, particularly along their arms, legs, and head. Their chests have a bright blue design resembling a skeleton, specifically a rib-cage and a spine.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Wisp has more health than other Gootraxians, at 120 HP.

Acquirement

Players can obtain Wisp by stepping on a glowing mini shark in the Flooded Area during a Blackout or via infection through another Wisp Gootraxian.

Trivia

  • Wisp is the only shark-based Gootraxian to not have "shork" in the name.
  • Wisp is the only Gootraxian to be the replacement of a Gootraxian who was also a replacement.
  • Wisp was originally named "Nisuyo" on its concept. There were two concepts, one with the blue design and another one with orange particles. However, this might just be a skin or just a cancelled design.
    • A difference between this is the eyes, where they appear to be entirely blue.
  • Lemon Shork and Wisp are currently the only shark Gootraxians in the game to have fins on their arms.
  • Oddly, it's one of the Gootraxians to lack a Bestiary description.
  • Strangely, it is classified as a "Normal" environment-type Gootraxian in its Bestiary entry.
