This page outlines a basic ruleset for editing and posting on this wiki.
Editing the Wiki
<tabber> |-|General Ruleset=
1. Fandom TOS
This wiki and those within it are subject to Fandom TOS.
2. TFE Discord
This wiki and those within it are subject to the Official TFE Discord Rules wherever applicable.
3. Removed and Unreleased Content
Removed or unreleased Gootraxians and items do not need their own, individual page.
- Regarding Gootraxians, only removed Gootrax that were fully implemented in the game receive individual pages. The only exception is Charem, for which a page should not be made.
- Unreleased content should never be written or shown, as any content of this type is subject to change or complete removal.
4. KE and KPE Content
This wiki details content found mostly in the main game of Kaiju Paradise.
- Content from Kaiju Paradise Experimental Build has no place on this wiki until said content is implemented in the main game.
- Content from Kaiju Engine Combat Test is to remain strictly within the designated Kaiju Engine Content pages and sections.
5. Fan Content
As stated above, this wiki details content only found in the main game of Kaiju Paradise.
- Content that is fan-made or not directly found within Kaiju Paradise has no place on this wiki.
6. Editor Comments
Almost every page on this wiki has Editor Comments.
- These comments appear in boxes (in the visual editor) and grey text encased in arrows (in the source editor).
- It is vital that these comments are read before editing, as they give critical information about editing that specific page.
-
A comment box in the Visual Editor.
|-|Textual Edits=
1. Spell Checking
All editors should utilize any spell-checking tools available.
- Keep in mind that this wiki uses American English, so be certain to set your local to American English on your spell-checking device.
- Spell-Checking devices may be found in the Useful Links and Websites section.
3. Informative and Neutral Tone
All text within the pages must represent a neutral, informative tone. Any opinionated text will be removed.
- The only exception to this rule are the Tips sections found on many invidiual Weapon and Gootraxian pages.
4. Linking Pages
When linking to another page on the wiki, you should only link to that page once per section.
- For example, you don't need to link to the Weapons page any time the term "Weapons" is said. One link to the Weapons page is enough for that section.
5. Unnecessary Edits
Changing words to a synonymous word, changing grammar where it isn't necessary, removing minor detail words and similar will be counted as unnecessary.
- For example, changing the word "room" to "area" is considered unnecessary, as the terms are synonymous.
|-|Media Edits=
1. Good Quality
When creating an image, gif or video, strive to have as high-quality media as possible.
- Media that is too blurry, pixelated, shaky or otherwise low-quality will be replaced.
- Alongside this, please use a screen recorder OTHER than Roblox's recorder, as the provided recorder outputs low-quality videos.
-
An image example of high quality.
-
A gif example of high quality.
-
A secondary gif example of high quality.
2. Anonymity
When creating any media, your avatar should not be recognizable and your username should not be visible. You may use a plain noob avatar or a Gootraxian, but these characters may not be dressed up in any clothing that relates directly to your avatar.
- Dressing up your avatar/Gootraxian is allowed if it follows the above rules and does not interfere with the subject matter.
- If your media requires your username to be seen, you must blur it out.
- Editing gif/media devices may be found in the Useful Links and Websites section.
-

-

3. Unnecessary Media
Media that displays only slight differences from other pre-existing media will be considered unnecessary and removed.
- For example, because golden Weapons act nearly the same as their regular counterparts, any gif regarding their swinging animation will be removed.
