The V3.1 April Fools 2022 Update was a limited time event in Kaiju Paradise. As the name implies, it was a joke event made for April Fools, starting on March 31st 2022 and ended on April 5th 2022.

The update featured a new currency, a new skin, various miscellaneous changes, and a map texture update.

Currency

Experience (or EXP Points) are an April Fools-exclusive currency that spawned around the map, similar to other event currencies. Touching one that spawns around the map only gave you one currency, and killing or infecting didn't reward any. They currently have no purpose, however Blaxor has stated in the game's official Discord Server that they might be used to obtain a skin in a later update.

Crates and Skins

While this update didn't add any new skins directly, there was a cosmetic change that changed the visual lottery effect that appears when opening crates to exclusively show a single unobtainable skin called the Ban Hammer. This skin was never actually added to the game, and only existed as a joke.

Map

This update includes the standard map with all new textures matching various Minecraft blocks. While the main structure remains the same, all locations have been modified to feature new Minecraft themed props, such as wooden doors, iron bars, glass panes, and pistons.

The radios across the entire map now play different music, all being covers of famous songs recreated by Fishcracks.
