Template:Gootraxian

Kaiju are the titular Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise and were created and designed by YukaChaan.

They appear to be dark-blue, reptilian humanoids with illuminated, blue crystal spines running along their backs and tails. They have magenta-colored eyes with yellow irises, a light blue tongue and dark blue claws on their hands and feet.

Upon death, they have a 1/8 (12.5%) chance to drop a Kaiju Basher. They also have a chance to drop a Strange Crystal, but this chance varies depending on how high the Kaiju's infect streak was before dying. A Strange Crystal will never drop if the Kaiju that was killed did not infect anybody.

The chance for the Strange Crystal works as so:

<math>12 + [(Streak - 3) * 3.75], 12 = Random</math>

<math>Random</math> = Generated number from 0 - 100.

<math>Streak</math> = Player's current infection streak. It must be 3 or higher. <ref>mathematical formula

Abilities

While this mostly appears to only be a visual difference, The Kaiju are slightly larger in size compared to other Gootraxians. They also have a total of 115 HP.

Acquirement

Kaijus can be obtained via infection through the blue crystals in the cave or by being infected by a Kaiju Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

A giant lizard-like creature that slowly has crystals growing outside of it's back. These crystals may vary in size and placement, but are mostly seen along the back of the creature.
Kaijus tend to be passive aggressive, and are very territorial. These tanky creatures tend to attack when provoked, but if you keep your distance, they will leave you be... most of the time.
The crystals in the main cave are actually shed scales that built up overtime. Touching any of those scales appear to be infectious, be careful of them.
Kaijus love spending time in the crystal caves or near water. While they do not swim often, they have shown to be very mobile in water and almost more aggressive.
